Child Safety Standards
Last updated October 31, 2026
We're Grooply LLC, and we make Dipity, an app for finding events and places and making plans with friends and groups. Some of the people who use our app are teenagers, so we take child safety seriously. Here's what we don't allow, how to tell us about a problem, and what we do about it.
What we don't allow
We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. You may not use our app to:
share, request or link to sexual images or videos of anyone under 18, including drawn, edited or AI-generated ones
sexualize a minor in messages, comments, photos or anywhere else
groom a minor, or try to arrange sexual contact with one, online or at an event or place
threaten or pressure a minor for images, money or a meeting
advertise or help with trafficking or any commercial sexual exploitation of a minor
If we find this kind of content, we remove it, close the account permanently and report it to the authorities.
Age requirements
You need to be at least 13 to use our app, and anyone under 18 needs a parent's or guardian's permission. This is also in our Terms of Service. If we find an account belonging to someone under 13, we delete it.
How to report something
In our app, tap Report on any user, group, plan, event, place, chat message or photo. You can also block someone so they can't contact you.
You can also email us at dipity@dipity.events. Tell us what you saw and where, and include a username or link if you have one. You don't need an account to report.
If a child is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number first.
You can report child sexual abuse material straight to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through the CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.
What happens after you report
A member of our team reviews every report, and anything involving a child goes to the front of the line. If content breaks these rules we take it down and suspend the account while we look into it. Accounts removed for harming children are banned for good.
When we find child sexual abuse material, we report it to NCMEC as US law requires, keep the records the law asks us to keep, and work with law enforcement.
